Frigate in Storm

The French F70 'La Motte-Picquet' (D645) anti-submarine frigate is encountering a force-10 sea with heavy winds and deep tides near Brest. However, this is not a big deal for such a ship-class with exceptional seaworthiness!

This artwork was very exciting to make because this was my first attempt for creating a realistic sea-environment, but it was also my first commissioned, printed and framed work for a friend who has commanded this very ship. Happy birthday Commander!
